Certificate Service

KTNET provides a joint certification service (formerly known as a public certification service) as a trusted third party (TTP) and an e-signature certification service, provider recognized by the government under the Digital Signature Act for the safe use of e-transactions.

Joint Certification Service (Formerly Known as Public Certification Service)

Service details

  • Issuance of an online ID card and e-seal as an e-signature certification service provider in accordance with the Digital Signature Act
  • Identification of e-commerce counterparties
  • Provision of e-signature, and verification of forgery and falsification of e-documents

How to use

  • Registration window KTNET registration desk (COEX and Pangyo, Chamber of Commerce and Industry (72 branches in Korea), Public Procurement Service (12 branches in Korea)
  • Registration documents application, a copy of business license, a copy of applicant’s identification original copy of seal authentication certificate
  • Application process Tradesign (www.tradesign.net) → Input registration information and make payments → Print application → Prepare supporting documents → Submit to registration window (identification required) → Accredited certificate may be issued from Tradesign (download)

Time Stamping Service (TSA)

Service details

  • Recording and verification of the HASH value for a specific document through a time stamping service
  • Notarization of the point of time when a specific document is created
  • Verification of forgery and falsification of a specific document, and notarization of integrity thereof
